It’s our first day back in the office for 2023, and have we got an exciting year ahead of us!
To start off, we have two brand new people joining our office, arriving on the 4th January. We have Jack who will be heading up our Finance sector, alongside Henry who will be expanding our Sales & Marketing roles across the UK. With this, we now have a total of 11 staff here at Zoop. Considering that we started 2022 off with 4 employees, our growth has certainly been steady, and we know we will continue to grow as time moves forward.
This is also a time to look at what we can do in the future, so today we spent some time in a meeting going over some goals we wish to achieve by the end of the year, both for Zoop as well as ourselves as individuals. Our Directors said the following about our 2023 plan:
‘We are looking to grow further by bringing in more consultants, who are passionate and motivated by the sector they created from scratch. An opportunity for all consultants to have complete autonomy on producing a successful desk. We want Zoop to be a place where you enjoy being and feel a career pathway with great potential. Sustainable growth encompasses our vision, ethos and culture.’
When it comes to New Years Resolutions, some of us have been quick to make some. We’ve all set our own individual Zoop goals, but also some personal ones as well. One of our staff wishes to complete a marathon by the end of the year, another wants to spend less time on their phone whilst a third wants to get their book published!
One of our biggest goals is to continue getting our name out there, expanding the Zoop brand. To this end, we have started to look at attending more networking sessions and working on improving our community impact, as well as aiming to win a few awards in 2023. We have a lot of competition in the Midlands and particularly across the whole UK, however we are more confident than ever in our abilities to get fantastic candidates into great companies!
2023 has a lot of great things in store for us, and we wish that 2023 will be a fantastic year for all of you!!
