Warehouse Operative

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Workers to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to materials management and logistics. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment.

Duties:

• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation and timely dispatch of goods.
• Build pallets and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring that products are packed securely for transport.
• Conduct materials handling tasks, including sorting, storing, and retrieving items as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
• Perform picking and packing duties accurately to fulfil customer orders in a timely manner.
• Utilise mechanical knowledge to assist with basic equipment maintenance when necessary.

Skills:

• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems is essential for effective inventory control.
• Experience in shipping and receiving processes is highly desirable.
• Ability to load and unload goods safely, demonstrating strong materials handling skills.
• Familiarity with building pallets and packing products for shipment is advantageous.
• Mechanical knowledge will be beneficial for operating warehouse equipment efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory management.
