An exciting opportunity has presented itself to join a vibrant and fun team with a very successful and expanding business in Market Harborough who are going through huge growth.

This is a Midlands-based main construction contractor with nationwide coverage, operating in industrial and commercial sectors, delivering big project experience with personal appeal. Therefore, some experience of working in or around a construction environment would be beneficial.

Previous experience of supporting teams to win tenders is highly desirable for this role.

We are looking to recruit an Office Administrator who is super-efficient and comes into work everyday with a positive frame of mind.

Ideally you will have experience in an office administration role.

Job Responsibilities:

  • To provide admin support to the company.
  • Maintaining a live set of tender information.
  • Keeping subcontractor quotes in good order.
  • Supporting the estimator team.
  • Answer telephones in a polite and courteous manner.
  • Take minutes in meetings.
  • Reception work.
  • Help printing Designs.
  • Some minor financial data entry.
  • General Data entry

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with individuals of all levels of experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with an ability to learn new tasks quickly.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining a calm demeanour under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
  • Good attitude to learning new skills and being a team player.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday. 9:00am -5:00pm with an hour’s unpaid lunch break.
