Senior Care Assistant

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Care Assistant to join the already magnificent team of carers working days or nights at our client’s residential care home providing care for the elderly. (Driving Licence preferred due to location of the home).

Our client is currently looking for an experienced senior Leader to join their friendly, growing team at their care home, on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will have an NVQ level 3 Health & Social Care.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone experienced in the role to progress their career. The hours of work are 7-7 days or nights with weekend availability/alternative weekends.

About the home

The Care Home is a purpose built care home in Edwinstowe near Mansfield. The home provides personal, nursing and dementia care to 49 residents. All bedrooms have ensuite facilities, and many having their own wet rooms.

The care home provides elderly care to 47 residents and it is rated “Good” by the CQC.

About the Role

• Leading our team to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents by providing the highest standard of care
• Supporting our carers to provide personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating
• Administering medication
• Writing and updating care plans, and keeping accurate daily records
• Promoting our resident’s choice, dignity and independence and all times
