Picker/Packer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment based in Leicester. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment, maintaining high standards of quality control throughout the process. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Duties

• Accurately pick and pack products according to order specifications.
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels.
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure all packed items meet company standards.
• Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols during packing processes.
• Assist in maintaining an organised and clean workspace within the warehouse.
• Collaborate with team members to optimise packing processes and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred but not essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to equipment used in packing and materials handling.
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
• Basic understanding of warehouse management systems is desirable.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and efficiency improvements.
