HGV1 and HGV2 drivers.

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Drivers to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of customer service. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation and the ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and report any mechanical issues.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of items during transit.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while driving.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organisation of goods.

Experience

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with flatbed driving and commercial driving regulations is advantageous.
• Basic mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor vehicle issues is desirable.
• Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
