We’re looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer for our client in Leicestershire.

Our client is a locally based firm, who’s focus is on providing fire and security systems across Leicestershire and beyond. Founded in 2013, our client is enabled to offer a one stop shop for all aspects of Fire and Security protection. Having already experience mass growth with the introduction of new workplace premises, our client is expanding yet again and are on the look out for a new Field Service Engineer. The Role
- Carry out the maintenance, fault finding and repairs of fire and security systems
- Although predominantly service work will be allocated a small amount of installation / day work may be required depending on work loads
- Programming and testing of newly installed devices
- Completion of installation and commissioning documentation
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manor and in accordance with company Health & Safety Policy
- Accurate completion of monthly timesheets
- Liaise with customers and other contractors when required
- Correctly store and maintain company issued tools and equipment
- Ensure suitable levels of stock are carried on the vehicles
- Report any failures or deficiencies to line manager
- Attend training courses when required
- Supervise and mentor trainee engineers when required
- Always represent the company in a professional and courteous manner

- 90% local work within the Leicestershire area (although some travel and working away maybe required at times)
- Working Hours 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday (40 Hour Working week)
- Overtime paid at 1.5x until 12:00PM Saturday the 2x until 08:30 Monday
- 22 days holiday a year (plus 8 days statutory holiday)
- Call out rota approx. 1 week in 7 from 08:30 Friday
- Standby rate £225.00 per week

Required Skills and Experience
Candidate must have experience in the Fire & Security Industry (2 years preferred).
