Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to oversee our clients company’s daily operations and ensure smooth functioning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, implementing operational policies, and driving business growth.

You will report direct to the directors and oversee all aspects of the company’s growth, the successful candidate must have at least 10 experience in the construction industry and ideally will have some window experience, they must be ambitious, able to make decisions and be able to communicate at all levels and have strong people management skills

You will be commercially aware and have at least a basic understanding of the various types of contracts used in the construction industry.

Duties
– Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency
– Manage and supervise operational staff to ensure productivity and quality standards are met
– Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
– Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement
– Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and achieve company goals
– Lead and motivate teams to achieve operational excellence

Requirements
– Proven experience in managing operations in a similar role in the construction industry
– Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
– Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
– Sound decision-making skills with a strategic mindset
– Knowledge of budgeting, financial planning, and performance evaluation would be ideal.

You will be based at our clients head office in Market Harborough and will travel throughout the UK. you will be expected to be in the head office 2-3 days per week and expected to be on site 1-2 days per wekk but also we would consider hyrid working from home.
