Job description
We currently have a great opportunity for a Deputy Home Manager to join the magnificent, experienced team at our client’s Nursing & Care home based in the scenic town of Edwinstowe, Mansfield.
The successful candidate will have an NVQ level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent.
Driving licence preferrable due to the home’s location.
Must have the right to work in the UK!
Our client’s care home is an excellent residential and dementia care home for the elderly, providing care to its 49 residents, and they are proud to be rated Good by the CQC.
They provide personal care of the highest possible quality for all their residents, providing both short-term and long-term residential care for the elderly and those living with dementia. They also provide respite care for elderly people to give their carers a break.
Situated in the lovely village of Edwinstowe, seven miles from the town of Mansfield, nine miles from Worksop, and only 16 miles from Newark, their care home is a modern purpose-built property very close to the centre of Edwinstowe. The property landscaped grounds including a sensory garden for the residents’ enjoyment. There are 49 bedrooms, most with en-suite facilities. Full wheelchair access and a lift to the first floor.
About the Role
- Working with the home manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home
- Leading our team to support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of our residents by providing the highest standard of care
- Administering medication
- Writing and updating care plans, and keeping accurate daily records
- Promoting our resident’s choice, dignity, and independence and all times
