Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Manager to join the Sales Department at our clinets family-run dealership. This pivotal role involves selling finance and insurance products, managing finance renewal opportunities, and ensuring the retention of existing customers, while also acting as a key support for the Sales Manager. We’re looking for an energised, driven individual who thrives on customer interaction and delivering results.
Key Responsibilities:
Finance and Insurance Sales:
- Promote and sell finance, insurance, and warranty products tailored to customer needs.
- Maximise profitability on every sale while delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and company processes when selling financial products
Customer Finance Renewals:
- Manage the finance renewal platform to retain existing customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer retention rates.
Sales Team Support:
- Assist the sales team with second-facing customers to secure deals.
- Provide training and guidance on finance and insurance products and compliance procedures.
- Step up to support or lead the department during the Sales Manager’s absence.
- Compliance and Administration:
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance guidelines for finance and insurance sales.
- Manage end-of-month returns and other administrative duties.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Business Manager, Retail Manager, or Sales Manager within the automotive industry.
- Strong sales acumen and an ability to build lasting customer relationships.
- Knowledge of finance and insurance products and the relevant regulatory frameworks.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with excellent communication and leadership skills.
- A valid UK driving licence (essential).
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 08:30–18:00 (with one weekday off).
- One day off every other weekend: Saturday 08:30–17:00, Sunday 11:00–16:00.
